GF/DF Banana Bread Recipe
One thing I want to do this year is provide you all with good healthy recipes (and maybe some not so healthy also ;) It's all about balance baby.
Since being on my own, I have learned to cook. Not learned to cook more. Simply, learned to cook. When I lived at my parents house, I was rarely in the kitchen. Seriously, once in a blue moon. You can ask my mom. Besides the point, cooking is really trial and error. It took a couple tries, including setting off the alarm three times when both of my roommates were home to witness, but I have been improving ever since. Being on your own will definitely teach you a lot, but that's a topic for another time.
Today, I wanted to share with you a healthy Gluten-free and Dairy-free Banana Bread recipe.
Ingredients:
🍞3 bananas
🍞3 eggs
🍞1/2 c peanut butter (I make my own)
🍞3/4 c gluten free almond flour
🍞2 tsp baking powder
🍞1 tbsp cinnamon (optional but recommend)
🍞1/2 c dark chocolate chips
Instructions:
1. Mix the wet ingredients
2. Add the dry ingredients
3. Fold in the chocolate chips, save some for topping
4. Pour into a greased loaf pan & add the rest of the chocolate chips
5. Bake at 350 for 40-45 minutes
If you try this, be sure to tag my instagram @destinyk.fit or leave a comment on how it was. It's a little bit different, but I love this recipe!

Here is a before and after...delicious.
(You could also make this with all
purpose flour if you don't like almond.)
